Dennis MarriottTriumph

This bike is a 1975 Triumph Trident T160 and was bought from a company in Adelaide as a basket case.

All the parts were there but in a neglected condition.

The bike has been given a complete ground up rebuild all work has been completed by myself with the exception of the re-bore to 20thou oversize and a crankshaft re-grind.

Since rebuild the bike has covered 12,000 miles.
GAVIN GILL -

follow the story of the Fizzy Restoration:

December 2024: Following the Fizzy. Xmas day & the fizzy fired up for the first time in many years. Now to check the headlight circuit to make sure the rectifier is ok, set the timing & adjust clutch & brakes. I'm coming for you Fast Eddie!

November 2024: The restoral continues, wiring done , seat recovered. Now working on the tank which was in a bad way with rust. After 6 days of vinegar treatment a few more leaks emerged. Once the liner is done its bog & paint time.

October 2024: Found the motor, pulled the speedo down to fix the odometer. Ignition switch & handlebar switch repaired. Tidied up the wiring harness which back end has to be redone. Seat is ready to recover. Not hard to spend a day fixing a $30. part.

September 2024: Assembly has started after sourcing replacement parts, building up the wheels & paint. Now where did I put the motor.

August 2024: Been at in in the shed ,stripped the little 50cc . Some parts are kaput & some are being saved. Motor rebored by Soc ,zinc plating & a little welding by RGV Gary.

Encouragement by V Twins Stewie who gave me an original 1975 sales brochure from the UK & Fast Eddie who wants some competition.
